As one of Canada’s largest electricity transmission companies, AltaLink was constructed as the new Service Centre in Janet, Alberta in a design build scenario with Scott Builders. Servicing these huge utility transformers in a high voltage Bay required two 80 ton cranes operating directly from inside to outside. The conventional steel project also required a 2 acre retention pond and pump house for fire protection, as well as full office facilities and employee services.
